Throwing Weapons in Minecraft
This modification brings the ability to use various types of weapons as throwable projectiles - exactly how tridents function in the standard game. All items within the axe_throw:throwable tag gain this capability, which by default includes different types of axes, as well as gold, diamond, and netherite swords.
When thrown, the weapon spins through the air and deals damage to any entities upon impact. The process resembles trident throwing with realistic flight physics. An interesting feature is the possibility to enhance throwable weapons with the "Loyalty" enchantment, which makes the projectile automatically return to the player after being thrown - just like with tridents.
A technically convenient aspect: thrown and retrieved weapons aim to occupy the same inventory slot they were launched from. At the same time, standard game mechanics are preserved - weapons don't throw immediately, allowing interaction with items in the off-hand, like shields.
To activate or deactivate the throwing function for a specific item, simply locate it in the inventory and right-click. To check the current ability status - hold the Shift key and hover the cursor over the item.
Game Settings
The modification introduces two important game settings:

axe_throw:projectile_drag_in_water- determines water resistance for throwable weapons (default: 0.85). -
axe_throw:projectile_damage_multiplier- increases or decreases damage from thrown weapons (default value reduces strength to 70%).
The mod is also compatible with the YetAnotherConfigLib configuration system (requires independent installation), allowing control over the display of the throwing function status through the popular modifications menu.
