AxolotlClient Waypoints
This mod provides a comprehensive minimap, world map, and waypoint system designed specifically for modern game versions. Development focuses on the latest Minecraft releases, meaning new features are primarily added to the most recent versions.
Core Features
Minimap System - displays the surrounding area in real-time, seamlessly integrates with the AxolotlClient interface when present.
Waypoint Management - allows marking important locations with connections to specific worlds and dimensions for convenient navigation.
World Map - provides an overview of all explored territory.
Server Configuration
Server administrators can control certain mod aspects:
- enable or disable the minimap
- ability to display underground areas on the map and minimap
- show caves in dimensions with ceilings (such as the Nether)
Configuration Methods
Server Installation
When the mod is installed on the server, a configuration file with corresponding options is automatically created. For modifying settings, the following commands are available:
/axolotlclient_waypoints reload- reloads the updated configuration file/axolotlclient_waypoints modify_config <property> <value>- modifies specific parameters
Alternative Method
Using system message properties compatible with Xaero's maps:
- specific code to disable cave display
- code to allow cave visibility in dimensions with ceilings
- code to disable the minimap
- code to reset all settings
Important: when the mod is installed on the server, the method using Xaero properties becomes unavailable.
Note: The mod lacks functionality for automatic disabling on servers where map usage is prohibited. Players bear full responsibility for adhering to server rules.
