Aylyth
The mod was created specifically for Spookyjam 2021 and took second place, winning the originality award!

Mystery Between Worlds
In the darkest forest corners, from giant sequoias to gloomy dark forests, the boundary between our world and the otherworld becomes especially thin. Aylyth lurks at the threshold between life and death, between reality and oblivion. This is a realm of forgotten mysteries, mystique, and hidden threats.
Realm of Autumn Mists
Aylyth appears to travelers as an endless forest shrouded in autumn fog, with giant trees among which insidious Ympe Trees hide. The longer a living soul remains in Aylyth, the harder it becomes to leave these lands. Although priceless treasures can be found here, everything comes at a high price.

Paths to the Realm
There are several ways to enter Aylyth. The least painful path is through Seeps, which appear on tree trunks in dense forest biomes and resemble portals. By entering such a Seep, you will find yourself in the Wood.

There are other ways to penetrate this dimension, mostly related to unusual deaths in the mentioned biomes - for example, from falling, drowning, or at the hands of a witch. If you have already been to Aylyth and obtained an Aylythian Heart, holding it in your hand when dying will cause you to respawn in Aylyth along with all your belongings.
Returning Home
To leave Aylyth, you need to find another Seep in this dimension and pass through it, or find Pilot Lights - will-o'-the-wisps of two colors: yellow and blue. Right-click on them while having at least 5 experience levels to return to the world of the living.
