BlazeandCave's Advancement Pack Criteria Sync

An extension for BlazeAndCaves Advancements Pack that enables synchronization of achievement criteria

What does this mean in practice? The advancement pack contains quests that require completing multiple conditions. Let's consider an example of an achievement with three different criteria:

Although BACAP already supports cooperative and team modes, previously only the achievements themselves were synchronized, not the individual completion conditions. This datapack solves this issue.

With the datapack installed, all players in the team see the same progress for achievement criteria.

Compatible Datapacks

Current CriteriaSync version works with the following additions:

  • Main BACAP (version 1.19.1)
  • BACAP Hardcore Addon (for version 1.18)
  • BACAP Terralith Addon (for version 1.18.3)
  • BACAP Amplified Nether Addon (for version 1.18.3)
  • BACAP Nullscapes Addon (for version 1.18.3)
  • Enhanced Discoveries (version 2.6.9)
  • Enhanced Discoveries Hardcore Addon (version 2.6.9)
  • Cereal Dedication (version 1.11.1)
  • Cereal Dedication Hardcore version (version 1.11.1)
  • Complete Collection (version 2.2.0)
  • BACAP Incendium Addon (version 1.19)

To select the correct addon version for your specific BACAP or its additions, refer to the compatibility table in the datapack release descriptions.

Excluded Achievements

Some achievements are not synchronized because this would lead to significant game simplification. For example, "The Perfect Run" from BACAP or "High Pitch" from Enhanced Discoveries do not participate in criteria synchronization.

If you discover other achievements that should not be synchronized, report this through the Issues system on GitHub or on the KomaruCats Discord server.

Installation

For a new world: When creating a world, select the "Data Packs" option. Then open the world folder and copy the archived file there, or drag the archive directly into the interface. After import, hover over the CriteriaSync icon - an arrow will appear - click it to load the datapack.

For an existing world: In the singleplayer menu, select the desired world, click "Edit", then "Open World Folder". Go to the "datapacks" folder and copy the downloaded archive there.

After installation, enter the world - a message about successful CriteriaSync installation should appear.
