Back in Classic

Over the years, many features from Minecraft's beta versions have been removed. Now they're back! This mod restores classic elements along with new capabilities, including instant bow shooting, the old combat system, roses, seeds from farmland, and much more.

Fabric Version is Now Available!

The mod now releases for Fabric and compatible loaders including Quilt. You'll need to install QSL to run it.

I've been working hard on transitioning to Fabric 1.20+ to ensure the project's continued development. Forge became an obstacle in development, so all future versions will be for Fabric and hopefully Quilt!

What's Already Added

All previous blocks and biomes have been successfully ported over!

New Block Properties

• Wax blocks bounce you like slime!
• Glowing obsidian emits light level 10!
• Nether reactor core provides light level 12!
• Crushed gravel now falls!
• Classic Nether portal emits light level 9!
• Cave rose and wild rose are now red and blue roses!

The main repository for this mod is now the Back In Classic Fabric Repository. Any issues or bugs can be reported in the issues tab. Enjoy playing!
