Back in Slime & Honey
This mod brings the tactile blocks of piston mechanisms back to Minecraft 1.7.10! You gain access to slime blocks, honey blocks, pistons, and sticky pistons with full functionality. Version 1.0.1 additionally introduces observers, target blocks, wax clay blocks (terracotta substitute without needing mixins), and wax as an item.
Key Features
Slime Blocks
Slime blocks completely prevent fall damage and provide a noticeable bounce, making them excellent materials for safe landings. Their main feature is acting as glue for pistons, allowing the creation of complex mechanisms with simultaneous movement of multiple blocks. They can also function as launchers for propelling objects.
Honey Blocks
These blocks only partially reduce fall damage but possess exceptional stickiness. The smaller hitbox allows for "walking on walls," and with sufficient skill, arrows can be shot through honey. They also serve as excellent glue for piston constructions.

It's worth noting that slime blocks and honey blocks do not stick to each other! Each retains its sticky properties with other materials but behaves like regular blocks when interacting with each other.

Configuration and Customization
Back in Slime & Honey offers a well-designed configuration file where you can define the behavior of any blocks yourself. Want ordinary stone to be bouncy like slime or sticky like honey? Add blocks to the corresponding lists in the settings and give them the desired properties!

The customization capabilities extend to immovable blocks (like obsidian) and terracotta-like blocks (moveable by pistons in only one direction and non-conductive to redstone). The mod itself adds its own version of such a block, crafted from wax and hardened clay.

Advanced Mechanics
Sticky Pistons
Regular sticky pistons can now spit out blocks when receiving a redstone pulse of one tick or less, opening new possibilities for complex automated systems.
Observers
With observers, it becomes possible to construct double piston extenders and flying machines - mechanics that were absent in the original 1.7.10 version.

Target Blocks
Target blocks enable redirection of redstone dust, particularly useful for creating compact power systems. When hit by an arrow, the target sends a signal (support for other projectiles and varying power levels is in development).

Dam Blocks
Dam blocks rise when activated by redstone, allowing fluid to pass underneath, and lower to completely cut off flow. This unique solution compensates for the lack of waterlogging mechanics in Minecraft 1.7.10.

Important Notes
Back in Slime & Honey shows its maximum effectiveness by integrating with existing mechanics. It replaces standard pistons with its own versions in the creative inventory and standard crafting recipes. If other mods use custom recipes, this replacement may not occur automatically - in such cases, it's recommended to activate the PistonConversionEnabled option in the configuration file.
It should be noted that vanilla pistons disappear from creative mode, and all recipes automatically update to use pistons from this mod.
