Better Creepers

Discover the exciting Better Creepers datapack that fundamentally changes familiar encounters with creepers in Minecraft. This unique project adds a total of 16 new creeper varieties adapted to different biomes and environmental blocks.

Features of New Creepers

Each new creeper type has the ability to camouflage with surrounding blocks and terrain, bringing back that same atmosphere of surprise and danger that was present in the classic version of the game. These stealthy creatures spawn at a rate of 1 for every 4 regular creepers, making every encounter truly unpredictable.

Among the available options, you'll find creepers that blend with grass, stone, deepslate, cave vegetation, gravel, and many other surface types. An important advantage: all new varieties have reduced health compared to standard creepers.
