Better Foliage Renewed - Updated Version of Enhanced Vegetation

Better Foliage Renewed is a modern adaptation of the famous mod by Octarine Noise for current versions of Minecraft. This is an exclusively client-side addition that works only on the Forge platform without Fabric support.

The original version contained several technical solutions that made updating difficult: complex core modifications to achieve visual effects, dependency on a rare programming language, and real-time texture generation.

This version solves these problems by using resource pack APIs. The mod requires no additional dependencies. Most features don't have settings for disabling or modifying, since models are loaded through resource packs. If you need to disable a specific model, simply replace the block state file with the vanilla version.

Built-in compatibility with popular mods: Atmospheric, Bayou Blues, Biomes O'Plenty, Caves and Cliffs, and Quark. Compatibility with other mods is easier than ever! For mods with permissive licenses, the author will add support independently; in other cases, users can do it themselves.

The mod's performance is comparable to the vanilla version of the game. Foliage may cause minor lag on weak computers, but overall no noticeable impact on performance is observed, except when using shaders.
