Better Gear Crafts

The Better Gear Crafts modification significantly simplifies the equipment upgrade process in Minecraft. Instead of creating new items from scratch, you can use three pieces of lower-quality gear to craft one item of the next rarity level.

How It Works

The system works the same for all types of equipment - armor, weapons, and tools. Simply arrange three items of the current level in a crafting table in any pattern except a horizontal line, and you'll get one item of the next quality level.

For armor: Iron → Diamond → Netherite

For tools and weapons: Wooden → Stone → Iron → Diamond → Netherite

Benefits

This mechanic saves a tremendous amount of time and resources, especially in the late game when you want to upgrade your entire arsenal to netherite. No more mining huge amounts of ancient debris and spending time crafting each item separately.

The mod is constantly evolving, and support for versions below 1.20.2 is planned for the near future.
