Better MCDA

Expanding Armor Repair Capabilities

The MC Dungeon Armors modification has many features, but it lacks an important option - the ability to customize ingredients for repairing armor. This feature is particularly valuable for modpack developers.

Main Functionality

This addon provides players with complete control over the materials used to restore the durability of armor from MCDA. Now you can independently determine which resources will be required to repair each type of armor.

Ease of Use

After installing the mod, launch the game and open the configuration file mcda_armor_stats.json5. In it, you will find new lines with the repairIngredients parameter responsible for configuring repair materials.

It's important to note that by default, the mod does not make any changes - all settings remain standard until you intervene.

Development History

Originally, the corresponding functionality was proposed for inclusion in the main version of MCDA through a merge request created on August 31 for version 1.18.2. However, at the time of developing this mod (November 10), the proposal still had not been accepted.

The need to balance my own modpack did not allow waiting indefinitely for the implementation of this feature, which served as the reason for creating a separate solution.

Technical Aspects

This modification does NOT contain and does NOT distribute any code from the original MCDA. This is a completely independent development that expands existing functionality.
