Better Mob Drops

Main Purpose

Better Mob Drops is a modification that fundamentally changes the mob drop system in vanilla Minecraft. The mod not only increases the chances and quantities of standard item drops but also adds completely new resources for killing various creatures.

In the current version 1.0.0, loot tables for 10 types of mobs have been changed:

• Ender Dragons, Withers, and Wardens can drop smithing templates corresponding to their biomes of origin.
• Blazes now sometimes drop glowstone dust.
• Creepers more frequently drop gunpowder upon death.
• Horses and donkeys drop leather much more often.
• Phantoms are guaranteed to drop at least one phantom membrane.
• Husks can drop sand.
• Endermen, when killed with an axe, sometimes drop chorus fruit.

❗ Important note: To obtain templates from the Ender Dragon, you must deliver the killing blow with a sword.

The mod continues to develop - future updates will include additional changes to the drop system and new items.
