BetterNetherBeta - Nether Transformation
This mod fundamentally changes the Nether dimension in Minecraft beta 1.7.3, adding diverse biomes with unique flora and creatures, as well as modern game elements like colored fog and biome-specific particles.
Main Features
Expanded Nether: The dimension's height has been increased to 256 blocks, and the lava sea level raised to 96 blocks, creating a more expansive space for exploration.
New Terrain Generator: A completely new terrain generation system with diverse landforms - from majestic mountains and pillars to vast plains and lava oceans.
Biome Diversity: The Nether is now filled with colorful biomes, each offering unique resources and visual characteristics.
Dynamic Atmosphere: Colored fog that gradually changes hues over time, and particles specific to each biome create a unique atmosphere.
