Better Portals

This modification significantly expands the capabilities of standard portals in Minecraft, going beyond the usual travel between the Overworld and the Nether.

Return Portal

When activating a portal in the Overworld (except for areas above bedrock), a special return portal is created. Entering it will teleport you to the world's spawn point - exactly where your compass points.

Nether Portal

Now a Nether portal is created only when activating a portal above bedrock in the Overworld. Activating a portal in the Nether always results in creating a Nether portal. Its function remains the same - traveling between the Overworld and the Nether.

Gateway Portal

When all four corners of the portal frame consist of stained terracotta, activation creates a gateway portal. This portal teleports you to a specific location depending on the color of the terracotta used, with teleportation distances ranging from 100 to 25600 blocks. Gateway portals allow easy access to remote locations. It's important to note that gateway portals do not create return portals, so before using them, it's recommended to have ten obsidian blocks ready for building a return portal or prepare other means of returning.
