Better Snowier Snow is a powerful configuration tool for snow layers, snow blocks and powder snow behavior. The plugin allows you to configure numerous parameters to create the most atmospheric snow cover in your game world.
🔧 Main Features
Better Snowier Snow includes many functions for customizing snow behavior. You can enable gravity for snow blocks and layers so they collapse when the lower blocks are destroyed, or set up automatic snow accumulation during snowfall.
⚙ Configuration Settings
- snowGravity: enables gravity for snow layers and blocks
- noMeltInColdBiomes: prevents snow melting in cold biomes
- meltAboveLightLevel: minimum light level at which snow begins to melt
- noSnowyGrassDecay: prevents snowy grass from decaying
- noSnowyGrassSpread: disables grass spread under snow
- slownessOnSnow: adds slowness effect when walking on snow blocks and covers
- slownessMinLayers: minimum number of snow layers to activate slowness
- slownessStrength: level of slowness effect for players
- slownessSneakingPrevent: disables slowness when sneaking
- snowChancePercentage: chance of snow layer formation
- snowPoseFrequency: frequency of snow fall during snowfall
- snowPoseWorlds: list of worlds where the plugin works
- snowPoseMaxLayers: maximum number of snow layers during snowfall
- snowPoseBlocks: number of blocks where snow forms per tick
- snowPoseIgnoredChunks: list of excluded chunks with syntax:

📜 Requirements
Better Snowier Snow runs on Spigot and doesn't require additional modifications or plugins to function.
✔ Compatibility
The plugin is developed based on Spigot API version 1.13 and tested on Minecraft 1.16.4. It will likely work on newer versions as well, unless there are fundamental changes to the API. A Sponge version is currently in development.
