CERBON's Better Totem of Undying
This mod fundamentally enhances Minecraft's standard Totem of Undying by adding new protective features and providing modpack creators with extensive customization options.
Key Features
Void Protection - Imagine the scenario: you're flying in The End above the void, and suddenly your elytra breaks. Without this mod, this would mean certain death, but with it, you'll be instantly teleported to the nearest island, giving you a second chance at survival.
Mob Knockback - When you're surrounded by a horde of mobs with no way to retreat, the activated totem creates a powerful repulsive wave that pushes enemies away, allowing you to safely withdraw and regroup.
Suffocation Protection - If you've been buried by gravel or stuck in blocks due to a game bug, the totem automatically destroys the surrounding blocks, creating enough space to breathe and escape. Especially valuable in hardcore worlds!
Smart Effects - Effects now activate only when they're truly needed. Water Breathing activates when drowning, and Fire Resistance activates when you're on fire. This makes totem usage more logical and balanced.
Flexible Configuration
Starting from version 1.1.0, you can add custom effects when the totem activates, configuring the conditions for their application. The configuration file offers endless customization possibilities:
- Blacklists for dimensions and structures where the totem won't work
- Ability to activate the totem directly from inventory
- Cooldown time settings for balancing
- And many other parameters

Compatibility
The mod has built-in support for Curios API and Trinkets API, allowing totem usage in the charm slot. It's fully compatible with other mods and doesn't cause conflicts, including Charm of Undying, though simultaneous use isn't recommended due to functionality duplication.
