Better When Groovier

Current BTA version: 7.3_04

This mod brings back the music tracks from later Minecraft versions that were part of the Minecraft Volume Beta album. It also gives purpose to some previously unused tracks from both music collections and introduces general improvements to the game's music system.

Musical Additions

All added compositions perfectly fit the Minecraft atmosphere and can be configured through Mod Menu. Future functionality expansions are planned.

Sound System Improvements

• Music now automatically stops playing when entering a world, returning to the main menu, or switching worlds
• Music smoothly fades out when playback stops

Title Screen Music

The following compositions now play on the main screen:

• Beginning
• Beginning 2
• Door (previously unused)
• Floating Trees
• Moog City 2
• Mutation

Creative Mode Music

In creative mode, the following tracks play:

• Aria Math
• Biome Fest
• Blind Spots
• Dreiton
• Haunt Muskie

Nether Music

In the Nether, the following music now plays:

• Concrete Halls
• Dead Voxel
• Warmth
• Excuse (previously unused)

Seasonal Music

Some tracks now play during specific seasons and times of day:

Autumn:

• Blind Spots

Winter:

• Biome Fest
• Flake
• Kyoto (only at night)

The original music from Minecraft Volume Alpha continues to play as well. However, the probability of a seasonal track playing is only 50%.
