Better With Time — Modern Implementation of Better Than Wolves Technologies
Better With Time is a technology-based reinterpretation of the classic Better Than Wolves mod, adapted for modern versions of Minecraft (starting from 1.21). The project draws inspiration from the original concept but reworks it for the current gaming environment.
Light automation is what this project offers, providing the opportunity to delve deeper into the technical aspects of the game: farm automation, item movement, and numerous other mechanics.
Technology, Not Hardcore
An important distinction from its predecessor: Better With Time focuses exclusively on the technical aspects of the game. Camera development of complex systems, advanced automation, and thoughtful mechanization with regard to the vanilla game feel.
This project will not set difficult survival thresholds:
- Is heavyweight parkour too dangerous for beginners?
- Unnecessarily jumping through hoops honestly becomes tedious!
- To leave bread and circuses or valuable resources?
The philosophy centers entirely on crafting layered, purposeful technical progression.
Test Version
Better With Time already contains numerous features and is quite suitable for survival mode. However, development continues—the mod is being supplemented with elements from the original and the game balance is being adjusted. Step-by-step documentation is in the process of being created and will be added in full later on.
