BetterScreenshots StationAPI
A modification for creating enhanced screenshots in Minecraft Beta 1.7.3, operating on the StationAPI platform. The mod provides advanced capabilities for capturing in-game moments using configuration settings through ModMenu and GlassConfigAPI. Special thanks to Birevan and Exalm for the original version of the mod!
Main Features
The mod supports multiplayer and works with GlassConfigAPI version 3.0 and above. It's important to note that this is a client-side mod that doesn't need to be installed on the server.
Shooting Functionality
- Automatic copying of basic screenshots to clipboard (enabled by default)
- Customizable hotkeys for creating screenshots through the control menu
- Option to disable bedrock rendering in the Nether for creating isometric photos
Screenshot Types
Isometric shots (F7) - creating screenshots in PNG format with isometric projection:
- Scale adjustment through GlassConfigAPI (default: 16)
- Rotation angle adjustment (default: 0°)
Custom resolution shots (F8) - creating screenshots with arbitrary resolution:
- PNG format by default
- TGA format when pressing Ctrl/Cmd + F8 simultaneously
- Resolution adjustment through GlassConfigAPI (default: 7680×2240)
Installation via Prism Launcher
- Download a Babric instance for Prism Launcher
- Install Java 17 and configure the instance to use it
- Add StationAPI to the mods folder
- (Optional) Install Mod Menu
- Add GlassConfigAPI version 3.0.1 or higher
- Place this mod in the mods folder (select the latest version)
- Launch the game and enjoy!
Troubleshooting
Question: Why is the game displayed too small, and part of the screen remains white?
Answer: Screen scaling is likely enabled or a high DPI display is being used. Several solutions are available:
- Install the Gambac mod
- Add Java argument:
-Dsun.java2d.uiScale=1.0 - Use ClientsideEssentials or UniTweaks mods with scaling fix functionality
- Change DPI settings for Prism Launcher to "system"
- Set screen scaling to 100%
