Biome Spawn Point (Legacy Fabric)
Biome Spawn Point (Legacy Fabric)
This mod requires the Collective (Fabric) library and Fabric API.
This is the page for the legacy Fabric 1.16 version. New files and updates have been moved to the main project page. For Forge versions and Fabric 1.18+, follow the appropriate link.
The Biome Spawn Point mod allows specifying which biome players will spawn in when creating a new world. The functionality works with both vanilla biomes and those added by other mods.
Due to the nature of adding biomes via datapacks, you'll need to generate a new world once for the spawnbiomes.txt configuration file to appear. After that, you can select biomes for player spawning by removing the exclamation mark in front of the desired biome name.
The mod is compatible with the bonus chest world generation feature. If this option is enabled, an additional chest will be placed near the spawn point in the selected biome.
There is also compatibility with the Village Spawn Point mod.
Configuration file spawnbiomes.txt
The configuration file is created at ./config/biomespawnpoint/spawnbiomes.txt. By removing the exclamation mark in front of a biome name, you add a chance for players to spawn in that biome. When one biome is selected, the probability is 100%. When two biomes are selected - each has a 50% chance.

You may freely use this mod in any modpacks as long as the download remains within the CurseForge ecosystem.
