Basic Guide
To begin, create a "sword maker's anvil".
Right-click the anvil to open the forging interface.
Place the blade, guard, and handle in the corresponding slots in the specified order.
Click the hammer to start a 10-second timer. Your task is to click the hammer as many times as possible until you reach the required hammer count (HC). For a standard katana, HC is 30 strikes.
If successful, you will create your first katana!
Alloy Guide
For working with alloys, you will need a "sword maker's anvil", "kiln", and "burner".
Assemble the kiln and burner as follows:
Right-click the burner while holding coal or charcoal to light it.
Now you can start creating alloys! For example, to create a gold-steel alloy:
Right-click the hot kiln with steel to heat the metal.
Remember: you need to act quickly, as the steel cools over time!
Open the forging interface on the anvil and always place the heated metal in the top section.
Click the hammer - a 10-second timer will start. For gold-steel alloy, HC is 40 strikes.
If successful, you will create your first alloy! If unsuccessful, you will get scrap metal.
These alloys can be used to create blades, handles, and guards!
