Welcome to the world of powerful weapons! The Blades Plus mod introduces a completely new class of swords - great blades that fundamentally change the combat approach in Minecraft.

What are Great Blades?

These are massive and extremely powerful weapons designed for those who prefer crushing power over speed. Each strike from a great blade deals enormous damage but requires more time to swing.

Variety of Materials

Currently, 6 types of great blades made from different materials are available:

  • Wooden Great Blade
  • Stone Great Blade
  • Iron Great Blade
  • Golden Great Blade
  • Diamond Great Blade
  • Netherite Great Blade

Weapon Characteristics

All great blades have an attack speed of 0.6 (for comparison: a regular sword has 1.6). This means you deliver less frequent but much more powerful strikes.

Wooden Great Blade: Damage - 8, Durability - 118 Stone Great Blade: Damage - 10, Durability - 262 Iron Great Blade: Damage - 12, Durability - 500 Golden Great Blade: Damage - 8, Durability - 64 Diamond Great Blade: Damage - 14, Durability - 3124 Netherite Great Blade: Damage - 16, Durability - 4064

Crafting these mighty weapons requires a significant amount of resources, but the result is definitely worth the effort. Each blade opens up new tactical possibilities in combat.
