Blendium
Blendium
Smooth alpha blending for Distant Horizons and Sodium!
The Blendium mod is no longer supported and considered obsolete, as modern Iris shaderpacks can create seamless transitions between Minecraft chunks and Distant Horizons LOD objects.
The blending method used in Blendium causes numerous graphical artifacts that significantly degrade visual perception.
Additionally, the Voxy mod now provides smooth water transitions without using Iris shaderpacks thanks to implemented changes from Xenthio.
Dependencies
Required
Optional
- Distant Horizons: provides smooth blending with LOD objects from Distant Horizons
- Iris: Blendium includes shaderpack presets for using Distant Horizons with Iris. Check the shader compatibility information for Distant Horizons, since Blendium only works with Sodium when shaderpacks are disabled. Supports Distant Horizons LOD brightness and saturation settings, as well as water reflection color modification. When Iris is not present, the shaderpack parameters
(off)from the configuration file are used
Incompatibilities
- Forge forks of Sodium (Rubidium, Magnesium, Embeddium, etc.)
- Forge forks of Iris (Oculus)
