Blind Echo

What is this mod?

The Blind Echo mod introduces a unique gameplay mechanic in Minecraft related to defeating the Warden. After destroying this powerful enemy, the player receives a temporary "Deafness" effect that disables all Sculk Sensors and Shriekers within an 8-block radius. This creates a strategic advantage for exploring deep dark biomes and makes encounters with the Warden more meaningful in terms of gameplay.

Main Features

Deafness Effect: When activated, it automatically deactivates all Sculk Sensors and Shriekers within 8 blocks of the player. This allows safe movement through dangerous areas without triggering sculk mechanisms.

Reward for Victory: The Deafness effect activates automatically after killing the Warden and lasts exactly 2 minutes. This creates a balance between the risk of fighting a powerful enemy and the advantage gained.

Tactical Exploration: The mod provides players with the ability to safely explore deep dark biomes by temporarily neutralizing dangerous sculk traps. This is especially useful when searching for ancient cities and valuable resources.

Future Plans

Developers plan to expand the mod's functionality in future updates:

  • Configurable effect radius and duration through configuration files
  • Additional mechanics for interacting with sculk blocks
  • Enhanced visual and sound effects for greater game immersion

Current Capabilities

Currently, Blind Echo offers players a tactical tool for exploring deep dark biomes. The Deafness effect provides temporary protection from sculk-activated traps, significantly easing navigation through the Warden's territory. The mechanic activates automatically after defeating the Warden, emphasizing the "risk-reward" gameplay concept.

Future updates plan to refine existing mechanics and add new features for deeper interaction with sculk blocks and corresponding biomes.
