Blinking Skin Port [Forge 1.12.2/Fabric 1.16+]
This modification automatically toggles all second skin layers you have enabled at specified time intervals. This is an adapted version of the original Blinking Skin mod for versions 1.12.2 and 1.16.
How does it work?
Starting from version 1.8, Minecraft added a second skin layer for every part of the character's body. Using this mod, you can configure automatic switching of specific (or all) second skin layers at set intervals. This creates a blinking or animation effect on your skin.
Body parts that can blink: cape, hat, jacket, left sleeve, right sleeve, left pants leg, right pants leg.
Can other players see my skin blinking?
No, other players do not need to install this mod to see the animation of your skin.
Requirements
- Minecraft Forge 1.12 or Fabric Loader + API 1.16 and above
- A skin with configured second layers
- Other players must use Minecraft version 1.8 or newer to display the animation
Configuration
Go to the .minecraft/config folder and edit the blinkigskinmod.cfg file using any text editor. In the Fabric version, a settings screen is available through the mods menu.
