IMPORTANT: The mod is no longer being developed by McHorse. It is now maintained by Chryfi. Official updates from Chryfi and other contributors continue, and work is underway to port the mod to new versions. If you want to help with official updates or porting, join the official McHorse Discord server for discussion. The source code is available on GitHub.

Blockbuster is a mod for creating machinima in Minecraft, offering numerous features for video production and possibly for adventure maps. It is not recommended to use Blockbuster on public Minecraft servers, as some mod features are not optimized for multiplayer (for example, lack of model and skin synchronization)! Use at your own risk!

The mod supports Chinese language thanks to ycwei982, Chunk7, H2SO4GepaoAX and KuenYo, and Russian language thanks to Andruxioid!

Blockbuster works with Forge 14.23.4.2638 (or newer) for Minecraft 1.12.2 (versions for 1.10.2 and 1.11.2 are available). The recording and playback system is based on the Mocap mod by EchebKeso and completely rewritten from scratch.

Installation

Install Minecraft Forge, download the latest stable version of the jar file for the required Minecraft version. Also install the following mods: McLib and Metamorph. Place them in Minecraft's mods folder and launch the game.

After that, Blockbuster should be installed and appear in Minecraft's mods menu. If the mod is not displayed, something went wrong.

• Using models as weapons and projectiles with the BB gun item

Bug Reports

If you find a bug or the mod causes a game crash, check the compatibility table and list of incompatible mods. The most common issue users encounter is installing incompatible versions of my mods or updating only one mod while using older versions of my other mods.

If the mod versions are correct, you can report a bug or crash either in the issue tracker or on my Discord server. Please attach a crash log and description of the error or crash, as well as how to reproduce it. Thank you!
