Bloodmoon
The Bloodmoon mod introduces an exciting lunar event called "Blood Moon" to Minecraft. Every night there is a 5% chance (configurable) that a blood-red moon appears in the sky, completely changing the gameplay.
During the Blood Moon night, monsters spawn much more frequently and much closer to the player. The maximum number of simultaneously existing hostile mobs also increases. It's important to note that these changes only affect creatures spawning on the surface world - if you're in a cave or dungeon, the Blood Moon effects don't apply to you.
One of the key features of the event is the inability to sleep through such a night (this option can also be changed in settings). Additionally, there is a function available that makes all monsters spawned during the Blood Moon disappear at dawn (disabled by default).
Visual changes create a unique atmosphere: the moon, sky, and light take on a reddish hue, and for better contrast, the fog becomes dark. This creates a gloomy and tense environment, perfect for survival in dangerous conditions.
