Band of Gigantism

What is this mod?

Band of Gigantism offers a collection of unique accessories for the Curios system that dramatically alter your character's size. The current version includes 9 items (5 in the Minecraft 1.16.5 version), each fully customizable through configuration files.

Features and Capabilities

Every item comes with detailed descriptions of its effects, styled in a manner reminiscent of Enigmatic Legacy. These descriptions automatically adapt to current configuration settings.

In addition to the main accessories, the mod includes 7 special "marks" - items that impose significant limitations on the player in exchange for minor bonuses. Most marks remain with the character even after death, and wearing them changes the color of your chat messages!

Obtaining Items

Almost all items can be found in dungeon chests across all three dimensions: Overworld, Nether, and End. Some items are significantly rarer than others, and several specimens can only be discovered in specific locations. All items are fully accessible in survival mode!

Compatibility with Other Mods

AppleSkin - it's recommended to disable food display in the F3 menu, as this bypasses the limitations imposed by the Mark of the Forgotten.

Mods using Pehkui - compatible, but character scaling may appear inconsistent between Band of Gigantism and other mods.

Mods that change chat appearance - set the "Marks Color Chat" parameter to false in the settings.

Technical Features

The mod's configuration operates on the server side and is located in the world's serverconfig folder, not the regular config folder. If you want to apply settings to all new worlds (for example, for a modpack), create a defaultconfigs folder next to the config folder and copy the configuration file there.

Changing Band of Gigantism's settings doesn't require restarting the game!

The mod can be freely used for any purposes. Crediting the author is appreciated but not required.
