Better Questing Tweaker (BQTweaker) - Improvements for the Quest System
This mod introduces numerous useful changes to the BetterQuesting interface, making quest management more convenient and functional.
Main Features
The home page of BetterQuesting now features a button to disable quest notifications. The questline page has been completely redesigned for better usability. Right-click context menus have been added, allowing quick addition and editing of tasks, as well as opening the questline designer.
All tasks for each quest are now displayed on a single page with scrolling capability, eliminating the need to switch between pages. Similarly, quest descriptions and rewards are also combined into a single scrollable area.
For convenient navigation, a hotkey (default: Backspace) has been added to instantly return to the previous page. The designer button has also been restored to the questline page.
Content Embedding in Descriptions
Starting from version 1.3.0, it's possible to add images and links directly into quest descriptions. This feature works exclusively on the client side and doesn't modify the BetterQuesting database, so removing the mod won't damage your quests.
For content embedding, a special syntax is used with type specification and parameters separated by semicolons:
Example for image:
{Embed}TypeImage;
Example for link:
{Embed}TypeLink;
The embed text is automatically removed from the main description. Multiple elements of any type can be added, which will be displayed in the locations where they are placed in the text.
Compatibility and Settings
The mod includes a compatibility fix for MoBends that prevents model stuttering in task previews. All features can be individually enabled and disabled through the configuration file.
Better Questing Tweaker is only required on the client side, but installing it on the server won't cause issues. Some features are experimental, so if errors are found, it's recommended to report them to the developer.
