Brick Furnace

This Minecraft mod introduces brick furnaces to the game, compatible with Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, and Quilt. Now players can create all types of furnaces using only clay, without the need to mine stone.

The mod adds three new types of furnaces: a standard brick furnace, a brick blast furnace, and a brick smoker. Each has a unique appearance and its own crafting recipes, while fully maintaining the functionality of their vanilla counterparts.

Crafting Recipes

Features and Behavior

Starting from version 1.5.0, villagers can use the brick blast furnace and brick smoker as workplaces.

The mod is optimized for better performance and reduced lag thanks to the implementation of mechanisms from the FastFurnace mod.

Configuration

In the configuration, you can change the cooking time factor (default: 1.0 - same time as standard furnaces).

Ability to disable standard recipes or block individual ones. Also supports adding special recipes for brick furnaces through CraftTweaker or datapacks.

Minecraft Version Support

The mod is not backported to older Minecraft versions. A list of supported and planned versions can be found in the appropriate section.

Fabric Support

Yes, starting from version 1.20.4, Fabric and Quilt are officially supported. Backporting to earlier Minecraft versions is not planned.

Where is the configuration file located?

The configuration file is located in the defaultconfig folder. Changes to this file only affect new save games. For existing save games, you need to edit the file in the serverconfig folder of the respective save.
