BSE - Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy Infection
A strange mutation has occurred among Minecraft cows, resembling mad cow disease but with unique characteristics. This infection silently spreads throughout the game world, gradually taking it over.

BSE Converter
This mechanism converts the current infection stage into random ores when activated with redstone.

BSE Essence
By drinking this elixir, you become part of the infection and gain immunity to attacks from infected creatures. Holding Shift and right-clicking allows you to process other mobs, making them BSE allies.

Administrator Commands
/gamerule cowphase [number] - Sets the current BSE stage
/gamerule cowphasexp [number] - Sets infection progress (1000 = 10%)
Infection Development Stages
Phases 0 and 1
Infected mobs are passive unless attacked (except for the four ultimate entities). The infection slowly evolves in the background.
Phase 2
Airborne transmission begins. When any mob dies, there's a (Current phase × 5)% chance of spawning a cow. All low-level BSE creatures get their attributes multiplied by the phase number. Natural evolution stops - progress is only possible through kills by infected mobs.
Phase 3
Low-level Cow Trees (parasitic pillars) begin to appear.
Phase 4
Death of BSE variant mobs has a 40% chance of spawning corresponding infected creatures (before this phase, probability is 30% and only from BSE kills). Cow Trees upgrade to level 2.
Phase 5
All BSE creatures gain (Current phase × 1)% chance of immunity to attacks. Cow Trees reach level 3.
Phase 6
Cow Trees upgrade to level 4. When killing, BSE mobs gain health, protection, armor toughness, and attack strength equal to the phase number.
Phase 7 (Nominally final)
Cow Trees reach level 5. Although called the final phase, progress can continue beyond without adding new effects.
Special Infected Creatures

Cow Ghost - Ranged combat creature

Cow Shadow Man - When attacking, with probability (Current phase × 10)% possesses the target, turning it into a traitor

Cow Golem - Always knocks back attacked creatures

Giant Cow - Always knocks back targets when attacking

Cow Tree - Spawns different monsters depending on level, which increases with infection development

Cow Brain - Appears with 1% chance when Cow Tree level 5 dies. Has all tree abilities and can create the four ultimate entities. Has (Current phase × 1)% chance of immunity to attacks. Presence of Cow Brain constantly increases infection level, and multiple such creatures accelerate this process

Cow Airship - Ultimate entity and super-air unit, creating Cow Ghosts for ranged attacks

Cow Beast - Ultimate entity and super-destroyer with extreme strength

Cow Spirit - Ultimate entity with invincibility mechanics. When attacking, steals dimensions and health from other creatures

Cow Heart - Ultimate entity that mind-controls mobs and creates Cow Shadow Men
