Builder's Hammer
The Builder's Hammer mod brings the functionality of the creative debug stick into Minecraft survival mode, while making its usage more intuitive.
The mod adds a copper hammer that allows the player to change the values of block properties. However, only certain blocks and their properties are available for modification - this is done for balance in survival mode and greater item realism. Here you can see some of the supported blocks and their properties.
Hammer Controls
Using the hammer is done with left or right mouse clicks:
- Left click changes a property depending on the viewing direction
- Shift + left click changes a predefined property regardless of direction
- Right click saves the block state as a preset for that block type
- With a saved block state, applying the preset is done with left click
- Shift + right click removes the preset for the block, allowing you to continue modifying block properties
Currently, the mod displays a small text above the hotbar showing the changes made, as well as moments of saving or removing presets. When saving a preset, the block is highlighted in green; when removing - in red.
