What are Bunis?
Bunis (pronounced like "Bunnies") are not quite the fluffy forest friends you're used to. These adorable cosmic critters travel between dimensions, chewing on stars and finding amusing things to eat and mischief to get into.
They resemble living cartoon characters more than actual living creatures. Bunis are both charming and annoying with their in-game behavior. You can't fight them or farm them like regular animals — instead, you'll need to learn to work around their tricks and channel their energy into useful activities.
Bunis' Favorite Activities:
- Eating picked ferns and flowers
- Consuming any items left on the ground (they don't digest them, just store them, holding up to a full stack)
- Friendly hammer fights with each other
- Reproduction through division (use an axe)
- Energetic dancing when they hear music
- Production automation — when eating dye ingredients, they produce twice as much product
- Trying on outfits in different colors using dyes
- Games involving being picked up and tossed around
- Complete invulnerability to any damage
What Bunis Dislike:
- Too much hitting and rough treatment
- Seeing their friends get hurt
- Scary soul torches, lanterns, and soul fires
Spawning and Distribution
Bunis spawn close to the world spawn point under any blocks open to the sky. The farther you go from the center, the less frequently you'll encounter them. Particularly observant players might discover rare variants in other dimensions!
Settings and Configuration
The modification includes flexible settings that allow you to adjust Bunis' aggressiveness toward each other, hostile creatures, and players. You can configure spawning frequency, maximum creature count on the server, add your own entities to the attack whitelist, and enable or disable natural Bunis spawning using game rules.
