Cacti (Categorical Creative Inventory) Renewed
Mod Overview
The Cacti mod transforms the creative inventory, simplifying access to tabs from various mods. When many additions are installed, each adding its own sections in creative mode, navigation becomes tedious due to the need to scroll through numerous tabs. Cacti solves this problem by grouping tabs from all mods into categories and displaying them as side sections.
This project is a port of the original Cacti (Categorical Creative Inventory) mod, which likely hasn't been updated since 2017 (version 1.10.2). The current version was ported from the 1.11 branch, not from the outdated 1.10.2.

Frequently Asked Questions
Compatibility with Minecraft Versions
The mod was tested on version 1.12.2 but will probably work with 1.12 and 1.12.1 too. Porting to versions 1.13/1.14/1.15/1.16 is not planned due to significant changes in Minecraft and Forge API. Version 1.11 is not supported - it's considered outdated, and if necessary, enthusiasts can build it themselves from the source code of the corresponding branch.
Compatibility Issues
Conflicts are observed with MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod since dynamic creative tabs are incompatible with that mod's item filtering system. When Baubles is installed, all standard tabs are duplicated in the "Baubles" section, leaving the "Minecraft" section empty.
Known Implementation Features
The mod contains several specific solutions:
- If any section becomes empty (as in the case with Baubles), an automatic switch to standard tabs occurs 年Standard creative mode tabs are initially arranged randomly, so their sequence was fixed in the code
Note: The mod is no longer supported by the developer, but the code is available for independent improvement and porting by enthusiasts.
