This modification was a continuation of the Forge port of Camera Overhaul by Mirsario, commissioned by CorgiTaco. Since Mirsario plans to add support for Forge/NeoForge to the official version, this project is being discontinued, and I will be contributing to the main version where possible.

Supported Versions

The official version of Camera Overhaul by Mirsario is a Fabric mod that supports Minecraft versions 1.14.4 and newer in a single file. The Forge/NeoForge version will cover the same version range as the Fabric version, and in the future, support for earlier versions of Minecraft Forge may be added.

When Will It Be Released?

That's not for me to decide. Keep an eye on Mirsario's project using the links below. In the meantime, you can use this project to download the mod and play with it as much as you like, just be aware that it will no longer receive updates.

License Discrepancy

The metadata in my mod indicates that this project's license is MIT, but as of December 21, 2024, the official mod's license was changed to GNU/GPL3.0, so there is a discrepancy between the mod's metadata and this project page on Modrinth.

About the Modification

"CameraOverhaul is a client-side Minecraft modification that aims to enhance overall game satisfaction through the introduction of various camera rotations to emphasize player movement and improve visual feedback. When strafing and turning around, the camera will tilt sideways. Jumping, falling, and moving forward/backward will affect the camera's pitch."
