📋 Basic Information
CameraOverhaul is a client-side Minecraft mod with extensive settings that significantly enhances gameplay sensations through the implementation of various camera rotations. The mod emphasizes character movements and strengthens visual feedback.
During lateral movement and turns, the camera will tilt sideways. Jumps, falls, forward or backward movement affect the camera's vertical tilt. Nearby explosions cause screen shaking, and during prolonged inactivity, the camera begins to gently sway while waiting for your actions.
🎮 Compatibility and Requirements
The mod works with Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge, and legacy Forge versions. Supported Minecraft versions range from 1.14 to 1.21 and newer — be sure to choose the appropriate release.
Requires Cloth Config API. For optimal perception, optimization mods such as Sodium and Lithium are recommended, especially at high frame rates.
⚙️ Parameter Configuration
Settings can be adjusted through in-game menus (with Mod Menu for Fabric/Quilt) or by manually editing the configuration file at path:
.minecraft/config/cameraoverhaul.toml
The file contains detailed comments and allows adjusting the intensity of all functions. Set any value to 0.0 to disable any function. Negative numbers are usually allowed, enabling effect inversion.
