Campanion is your faithful travel companion that adds various items and useful mechanics for comfortable living away from home.

About the Modification

Campanion is a ready-made solution for fans of the nomadic lifestyle in Minecraft version 1.15.2 and above, running on the Fabric loader. The project was originally created for ModFest 1.15 in April 2020, but the developers enjoyed working on it so much that they decided to continue support and updates for new game versions as fresh ideas emerge. The mod adds numerous decorative and practical items that will definitely diversify your gaming world.

The main goal of Campanion is to create a themed modification including all the features that the developers wanted to see in the game or believed should be there by default.

Main Features

  • Rope bridges for crossing ravines
  • Rope ladders for descending into deep caves
  • Grappling hooks for climbing
  • Backpacks for increased inventory capacity
  • Tents for temporary shelter
  • Sleeping bags for resting during travels
  • Spears as alternative weapons
  • Lawn chairs for relaxing in nature
  • S'mores — traditional campfire treats
  • Flat stones for playing "skipping stones" on water
  • Leather tanning process
  • Howling wolves creating atmosphere
  • Various crafting materials
  • Signal flares
  • Colorable fire

Compatibility with Other Mods

Check out the related biome mods — Traverse and Terrestria:

Terrestria and Traverse work perfectly with Campanion and provide many new locations for your adventures.

Also check out the Nether expansion from Terraformers — Cinderscapes:

Who said you can't set up camp in the Nether? Cinderscapes adds many new breathtaking and simultaneously frightening landscapes where you can stop (just don't try to use a sleeping bag in the Nether!).
