Important Information

This mod is currently not actively maintained, and there are no plans for its further development.

This is due to several reasons, the main ones being that the project's scope significantly exceeds my current capabilities, as well as a lack of motivation and creative inspiration to continue working specifically on this project. This doesn't mean I'll never return to it in the future, but don't expect any updates soon. I continue to develop other modifications that interest me more.

Installation Requirements

A direct port is not planned, but the mod should work since NeoForge and Quilt support mods for Forge and Fabric respectively.

The mod requires the following dependencies:

• Forge Config API Port - for configurations
• Forge Config Screens - for settings screens
• Patchouli - for in-game documentation

ATTENTION: The mod is in early development stage! There may be bugs, missing features, and other issues! Bug reports and suggestions can be left on GitHub or Discord!

About the Mod

CardCraft is dedicated to collecting trading cards. You can showcase your collection to friends or the community, and in the future - use cards in epic duels! Each card features familiar characters from the Minecraft universe, as well as many jokes and references (I'm sure you won't find them all).

The main way to obtain new cards is through booster packs, which can be found in dungeon and village chests. In the future, the ability to trade cards with villagers is planned.

For convenient viewing of items and recipes added by the mod, it's recommended to install JEI or similar mods.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where is the dueling mechanic? A: I'm new to modding, and implementing such a mechanic will require significant help and planning. There are some ideas, but until I can show concrete results, don't expect this feature to appear soon.

Q: Why don't the cards have textures? A: I'm not a texture artist, so they remain blank until I create something satisfactory or find someone who can make them for me.

Q: Will there be a port to other versions or modloaders? A: Currently, I only support version 1.20.1 for Forge and Fabric. Versions for 1.21 will appear later. If I deem it necessary, I'll make backports myself to ensure quality and consistency.

Q: Can a specific feature be added? A: Suggestions for improving the mod can be left in Discord.
