CarpetSkyAdditions-Reborn is a modification built upon the original CarpetSkyAdditions. This specialized addon for Fabric Carpet offers an advanced SkyBlock-style gameplay mode that requires deep understanding of Minecraft game mechanics.

Core Concept

This mod provides a "sky blocks" mode where the world generates as completely empty but retains all standard biomes and structure boundaries. This means mobs will spawn in their usual locations - for example, husks in deserts or blazes in Nether fortresses, even without physical terrain beneath them.

Gameplay Features

The key challenge in this mode is resource scarcity. Lava, sand, and some other materials become difficult to obtain, requiring creative approaches and the use of external tools like Chunkbase or MiniHUD. The developers sparingly implemented mechanics for acquiring missing resources while maximum-preserving the vanilla game atmosphere.

Creating a new SkyBlock world involves selecting the corresponding world type while simultaneously activating the carpetskyadditions/skyblock datapack. For added difficulty, an option is available for a more challenging start.

Technical Capabilities
