Carry On - Mod for Carrying Blocks and Creatures
Have you ever wondered why you can carry a stack of 64 empty chests in your pocket, but can't simply move a filled chest with your bare hands? This problem is now solved!
Carry On is a simple but very useful addition that fundamentally changes interaction with the game world. It allows players to lift, carry, and place functional blocks (such as chests, furnaces, dispensers, spawners, and various mechanisms from technical mods) using only empty hands. No tools or special items are required. All data is completely preserved: contents, state, metadata, and NBT information. Additionally, the mod allows carrying small mobs!
How It Works
Simply hold Shift (this key can be reassigned) and right-click on any functional block or mob to lift it. To place the object back, simply right-click.
Additional Features
- Compatibility with all functional blocks from any mods, including technical ones
- Ability to carry all creatures (in survival mode, hostile mobs are unavailable by default, but this is configurable)
- Objects can be stacked on each other (only smaller creatures on larger ones)
- The lock function is respected, preventing theft of protected blocks
- Powerful settings system allows banning entire mods or specific blocks
- Player can carry only one object at a time, with other actions blocked
- Carrying objects slows the player - the more contents or larger the mob, the greater the slowdown
- For modpack creators, advanced scripting capabilities are available
- If it's impossible to place a lifted block, it can be removed from inventory with the /carryon clear command
- Other players can also be carried
Configuration
- The mod provides a detailed configuration file
- Specific blocks or entire mods can be banned
- There's an option for carrying regular blocks (e.g., dirt), which is disabled by default
