CAS' Extra Potions
Minecraft contains unused effects hidden within its code. This mod makes these effects available by allowing you to brew potions with them in survival mode. Additionally, it introduces new potions with combined trade-off effects—powerful enhancements paired with negative consequences, similar to the Potion of the Turtle Master.
Versatile Application
All new potions can be transformed into splash variants, lingering clouds, or tipped arrows using standard methods: gunpowder, dragon's breath, and arrows. Most potions can also be enhanced with redstone to extend duration or glowstone to amplify power.
Milk Bottle
This practical alternative to the milk bucket solves the stacking issue. Simply use an empty glass bottle on a cow to obtain a compact means of removing harmful effects.
Available Potions
Potion of Blindness—redstone increases duration. Recipe: Potion of Invisibility + Spider Eye.
Potion of Nausea—redstone extends effect. Created from Awkward Potion + Slime Ball.
Potion of Health Boost—redstone and glowstone enhance duration and strength. Recipe: Potion of Regeneration + Honey Bottle. Temporarily adds red hearts that regenerate while the effect lasts.
Potion of Absorption—redstone for duration, glowstone for power. Made from Potion of Healing + Honey Bottle. Provides temporary yellow hearts that don't regenerate if lost.
Potion of Glowing—duration extendable with redstone. Created from Thick Potion + Prismarine Crystals. Makes you glow as if hit by a spectral arrow.
Potion of the Underground Explorer—ideal for mining: faster block breaking and saturation at the cost of reduced health.
Potion of Resistance and Iron Skin—the former increases damage resistance, the latter adds armor properties that stack with equipped armor.
Potion of the Swift Traveller—significantly boosts running speed and jump height but slows mining and reduces damage dealt.
Potion of the Pretentious Partisan—reduces maximum health but grants massive absorption boost.
Potion of the Ancient Pentathlete—has two recipes and combines swiftness with leaping abilities.
Potion of Wither—similar to poison but with wither effect. Recipe: Potion of Poison + Bone.
Potion of the Hungry Giant—increases health and knockback resistance but slows movement and induces hunger.
Potion of the Head Monk—grants tremendous strength at the cost of blindness.
