CCDDI (Damage Indicator) - Customizable Damage Indicator

CCDDI mod provides a client-side customizable directional damage indicator that displays helpful cues around your crosshair. This feature alerts the player to nearby damage sources, significantly improving combat awareness.

While vanilla Minecraft already includes a basic damage indicator (which shakes the camera towards the attack direction), many players find it more disorienting than helpful. CCDDI offers a much more informative and comfortable alternative.

For maximum customization flexibility, the mod utilizes ModMenu and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL). These tools allow detailed configuration of the indicator's appearance and position in the HUD - you can even upload your own custom textures for the indicator!
