Improved Beacons by CERBON
This mod fundamentally transforms standard Minecraft beacons, adding numerous new capabilities and enhancements. Beacons have become much more functional and customizable.
The mod offers two interface options: with additional third-level effects and without them. The expanded interface displays which specific item was used to activate the beacon. To obtain third-level effects, a level 5 beacon is required.
The visual representation of the pyramid has been changed to show all available block options for construction: gold, emerald, copper, diamond, netherite, and iron.
The cancel button now performs a new function - it allows deactivating all active beacon effects at any moment.
Copper blocks can now be used both for pyramid construction and for beacon activation. Different materials affect the range: copper provides minimum range, while netherite offers maximum range.
Two new effects have been added: night vision (useful for builders and miners) and fire resistance (especially valuable in the Nether).
Three completely new effects have appeared: increased block interaction range, protection from phantom spawning, and prevention of patrol spawning within the beacon's area of effect.
The material of the beacon base affects the strength of main effects. For example, netherite blocks significantly enhance effects. All settings can be modified through configuration files.
Using amethyst clusters allows changing the direction of the beacon beam, although the beam itself must still be directed toward the sky.
Tinted glass allows adjusting the transparency of the beacon beam. When using three blocks, the beam becomes completely invisible.
Various minor improvements have also been added: button tooltips, the ability to waterlog the beacon, and redstone conductivity, matching Bedrock Edition capabilities.
