Chance & Choice

This modification offers a rich collection of items that generate random letters, numbers, and symbols. Perfect for roleplaying and finding inspiration! Includes rare items with special effects.

Features of current version 1.21.8-1.3.0

Chance Token - basic crafting component. Can be used on a Chance Table to link to it, allowing you to receive results of rolls and draws in chat. May grant a random potion effect when linking (configurable).

Chance Table - up to 20 players can be linked to one table (configurable), allowing sharing of coin flips, dice rolls, and card draws in chat.

Gamer Villager - uses the Chance Table as a workstation. Trades various items, simplifying progression without traditional villager trading.

Big Die - throwable object that turns into a block pointing in a random direction. Made from 9 Chance Tokens and can be uncrafted back.

Collectible Items

Various coins (wooden, stone, copper, iron, golden, diamond, netherite) - throwable, dyeable items showing a random side when thrown.

Dice (D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, D100) - throwable dice that output a random number. Available for crafting and color changing.

Game Master's Coins and Dice - provide Luck and Haste on heads/max value, or Bad Luck and Fatigue on tails/roll of 1. Can be found in Ominous Vaults.

Cards and Generators

Bag of Letters - outputs a random letter. Can be traded with Gamer Villager for bags of words. Craftable and dyeable.

Deck of Blank Cards - used to lock a Chance Table, preventing new players from connecting. Also unlocks the table if the user is already linked.

Deck of Flash Cards - contains information about the modification, can be obtained through trading.

Card decks - Playing Cards, Minor Arcana, Major Arcana allow drawing random cards with dyeing and crafting options.

Deck of Many Things - the most dangerous deck, each card has a unique effect! Some may damage landscape, inventory, or player health. Available for crafting and dyeing.

Additional Features

Puzzle Box - secret item, rarely found during archaeology in ocean ruins (configurable). Activated only for approved users.

Summoned Equipment - created by the Deck of Many Things. Gradually loses durability over time and with use.

Infinite Library - mysterious element with unknown properties.
