New Game Rules for Real Challenges

This mod introduces additional game rules that dramatically increase the difficulty of completing Changed. All changes are implemented exclusively on the server side — your friends won't need to install this modification for cooperative play.

Current Mod Capabilities

Doomsday (changedDoomsday)

When this option is activated, latex creatures remain hostile to all players, regardless of their current transformation state. Value 1 enables the mode, 2 — extends it to organic creatures as well. Tamed latex creatures and representatives of your faction won't attack you, but others will make you their primary target!

Important: There are two main factions in Changed MC — Pure White Latex and Dark Latex. Transforming into a Shark Latex doesn't guarantee safety from other representatives of this species.

Nowhere to Run (changedNowhereToRun)

By enabling this parameter, you allow hostile latex creatures to detect you through walls and organize raids on you if you're within their detection range. They see exclusively players!

Contagion (changedContagion)

When set to value 1, latex creatures can transform any transformable objects with just one hit, including environmental hazards. Value 2 limits the effect to players only, and 3 — excludes players from the effect.

The modification overrides the changed:transfur_tolerance attribute to value 3. Armor with latex protection temporarily protects against one infectious hit.

Threats From Afar (changedThreatsFromAfar)

(Feature in development — creatures will attack only from long distances! Minimum value — 100%) This parameter multiplies the visibility range of latex NPCs. Set 200% or higher for maximum sharpness of their vision. Combination with the "Nowhere to Run" mode creates a truly intense gaming experience.

Overrides the minecraft:follow_range attribute. Armor with latex protection provides temporary resistance.

Technical Features

Only the basic Changed modification is required for the mod to work. The mod is in an experimental stage but demonstrates stable operation.

Development

The modification was created using MCreator with additional code changes for greater flexibility in adding game rules. The developer is open to feedback and suggestions, although has limited time to work on the project.
