Changed: Minecraft Mod

Changed:MC brings the universe of Changed by DragonSnow into Minecraft version 1.18.2. Inspired by the Turned mod by alex_n_italy, this project is entirely dedicated to the transfurration mechanics. You'll encounter unique structures, special blocks, latex creatures, emotions, and numerous technical improvements. You can transform into one of these creatures, gaining new abilities while facing certain limitations.

If you're using the mod as part of a large modpack, it's recommended to disable unique latex block generation in the settings to avoid long loading times.

Gameplay

How to Perform Transfurration?

Use an infuser to fill a syringe with blood, then purify it (this takes some time). Place the syringe on an IV stand next to a bed and go to sleep. There's also a game rule changed:keepConscious that activates transfurration in situations where the character would normally die. It's disabled by default, and the decision to use it is up to you.

With cheats enabled, you can use the /transfur command.

How to Return to Normal Form?

Reverse transfurration is impossible. However, character death removes the transfurration and restores the original appearance. This can be prevented using the game rule changed:keepForm. This solution aligns with the canon of the original Changed game, where reverse transformation is impossible according to the storyline. There are additional mods available that solve this problem.

With cheats, the /untransfur command is available.

Syringe Recipes

Recipes become available after obtaining Latex Base. Check the recipe book in the infuser table.

How to Open Laboratory Doors?

Laboratory doors are locked when unpowered. Activate them using redstone. After unlocking, doors open like regular ones but automatically close when power is lost.

The mod is designed with maximum compatibility in mind. If you discover conflicts with other mods, report them on GitHub.

Support for Other Versions and Modloaders

There are currently no plans to port to Fabric/Quilt or other Minecraft versions. Development is focused on one version until the main content is completed.
