Chaos Minecraft

The Chaos Minecraft mod completely overturns the usual game mechanics, creating real chaos in your Minecraft world. If you're looking for a completely new gaming experience where everything works differently than you're used to, this mod is for you!

Changes in Resource Gathering

Mob Drops:

• Pigs no longer drop anything
• Bats now drop pork chops
• Players killing squids can get enchanted golden apples with a 0.9% chance

Blocks:

• Diamond ores now drop emeralds
• Iron ores drop as lapis lazuli
• Dead bushes drop cobblestone
• Stone turns into netherrack

Archaeology and Game Mechanics

Archaeological Finds:

• Zombie heads appear in desert pyramids and warm ocean ruins
• Skeleton skulls can be found in desert wells
• Rotten flesh is added to warm ocean ruins

Gameplay Features:

• Fishing can bring suspicious stew that causes nausea
• Cat morning gifts sometimes include powerful gear along with bones and skulls
• Trading with piglins can bring 2 buckets of milk

Crafting Recipes

Crafting:

• Gold ingot requires 8 gold nuggets and 1 copper ingot
• New suspicious stew recipe with nausea effect: red mushroom, brown mushroom and 3 pufferfish

Smelting in Furnace:

• Iron ore turns into stone
• Gold ore and raw gold smelt into cactus
• Deepslate diamond ores become coal
• Diamond ores turn into bamboo

Smelting in Blast Furnace:

• Coal block smelts for 30 minutes and turns into diamond
• Iron ore becomes stone
• Gold ore and raw gold turn into cactus
• Deepslate diamond ores become coal
• Diamond ores turn into sticks

Brewing:

• Milk bucket is used as fuel instead of blaze powder

Mob Behavior

• Villagers pick up armor
• Piglins love grass (short grass, tall grass, seagrass and grass blocks)
• Axolotls hunt wolves
• Fish and rotten flesh are added to axolotl diet
• Raw beef is now food for parrots
• Turtles eat cookies

Enchantments

• Player becomes vulnerable to Impaling enchantment
• Wind Burst enchantment can be applied to swords and axes
• "Wind Burst" activates even when simply standing on the ground
• "Density" and "Breach" enchantments are no longer incompatible

Spawners and Mob Spawning

• Ravagers spawn naturally
• Chickens often spawn in the Nether
• Elder guardians can be found on beaches
• Cows are only found in jungle biomes
• Sheep spawn in the deep dark
• Donkeys can be found in the End
• Ghasts spawn in the void

Technical Changes

World Generation:

• The Nether no longer has a ceiling
• The End became flat
• Shipwrecks spawn in mountains

Other Features:

• Emerald, iron, gold, diamond and netherite blocks can be transformed into mud
• Beacons use netherite ingots, nether star, diamonds, ender eyes and wither roses as payment
• Withers can be summoned using mud base blocks, soul soils or bedrock
• It rains in the Nether and the End
• Trying to locate a monument in the End may cause the game to freeze
• You can sleep in the Nether and the End, but not in the overworld
• Respawn anchor doesn't work in any dimension
• Piglins don't transform in the End
• Zombie villagers spawn in normal villages, and regular villagers spawn in abandoned villages
