Charmonium Reforged

Charmonium is a modification for Minecraft 1.16.4 (Forge) that significantly enriches the game world by adding atmospheric sound effects and additional background music. The mod perfectly complements vanilla and vanilla-oriented modifications and requires Charm.

Main Features

The mod brings variety to the game's audio experience:

• Biome ambient sounds — unique sound effects for different biomes during day and night, making the world more lively and immersive
• Underground sounds — cave sound intensity increases as you go deeper underground and decreases when the area is lit up
• Specific sound effects — wooden creaking in mineshafts, village activity sounds during daytime
• Volume control — ambient sound levels can be adjusted using the "Ambient Sounds" slider in game settings

Additional Music

Five new musical compositions have been added to the game:

• "There" (þarna) — random composition for the Overworld
• "Beneath" (Undir) — music for the Nether (when below level 48)
• "Mouse" (Mús) — composition for icy biomes
• "Stone" (Steinn) — plays in underground ruins (Quark's large dungeons or Strange's ruins)
• "Ghost" (Draugur) — additional composition for underground ruins
