Charset CRE
Charset CRE is an adapted version of the original Charset mod, ported to the Cleanroom Loader platform. This modification was created to resolve compatibility issues with modern versions of Guava and Apache HTTP5.
Within this fork, the developer plans to implement fixes, add missing functionality, and crafting recipes. The primary task is to eliminate critical incompatibilities and errors.
Charset Modules and Their Capabilities:
Audio (♫) - Allows recording and playing music discs with the ability to share them on servers. For support of additional formats (e.g., MP3), installation of the JEC mod is recommended.
Logic Gates (&) - Simple redstone logic gates similar to systems from RedPower2 and ProjectRed.
Storage (■) - Includes chests, barrels, locks, and tanks in the style of BuildCraft. It is important to note that chest recipes may disrupt the operation of automatic crafting systems (AE2, RS), and work is underway to resolve this issue.
*Tweaks ()** - Minor improvements: glass shards, black dye from charcoal, dyeable anvils and slime blocks, pushable TNT, and other useful small features.
Redstone Wires (+) - Cables for transmitting redstone signals, similar to the implementation in ProjectRed.
Wrench (/) - A simple tool for rotating blocks, compatible with multipart structures.
Transport - Cross rails and dyeable minecarts.
Tools - Signal meter and stopwatch for process automation.
Tablet - A universal wiki system with online content, displaying information only for installed mods.
Immersion - Placing items in the world in TFC style (support for ingots, plates, gears, and coins). Possible conflicts with some in-world crafting systems.
Block Carrying - Ability to carry compatible blocks (similar to Carry On, but without entity support).
Power - Steam and rotary power systems, wires for transmitting FE. Under active development, energy consumers are not yet implemented.
Optics - Laser-based logic system requiring further refinement.
Crafting - Automatic crafting in a world grid (reminiscent of Create), as well as the ability to dye items in a cauldron. Expansion to a 9×9 grid is planned.
Chisel - Transforming blocks into walls and stairs from the same material.
IMPORTANT: MCMultipart is required for audio and redstone wires to function.
