Charset Storage - Barrels
Charset Storage Barrels is a module for the Charset framework that adds various storage barrels to Minecraft.
Capacity Storage Systems
Each barrel can hold up to 64 stacks of various items. The container interaction system is intuitive: items can be extracted from the bottom side, loaded from the top, or by right or left clicking the front face. The modification supports automatic unloading of inventories from objects such as backpacks and canvas bags.
Variety of Upgrades
Barrels can be enhanced in several ways:
- Sticky Barrels - during automated unloading, always leave at least one item inside, serving as a sort of filter
- Hopping Barrels - combine the functions of a barrel and a hopper in one block
- Silky Barrels (disabled by default when Charset Tweak Carry is present) - preserve contents when destroyed with a Silk Touch enchanted axe
Additional Features
For creative mode, Infinite Barrels are offered - an inexhaustible source of items. Barrel Carts are also available - regular minecarts with a barrel installed inside, created by simply combining a barrel and a minecart in a crafting table.
Mod Compatibility
The system supports interaction with other popular mods:
- Barrels can be crafted from any wood type, including those added by third-party modifications, with texture and color fully matching the original material
- For Chisels and Bits, bits are combined into stacks of up to 512 pieces (by default), matching the capacity of the bit bag
For ease of use, rotation tools such as wrenches are recommended.

This version of the mod requires the installed CharsetLib.
Project icon textures are based on materials from Unity by CyanideX.
