ChestShop

ChestShop is an intuitive system for creating virtual shops in Minecraft using signs and chests. Originally developed by Acrobot, the project continues to be actively developed and improved.

Compatibility with Economy Plugins

The plugin automatically works with most economic systems thanks to integration with Vault! (Versions above 3.9.2 also support plugins using Reserve API)

Using Shops

The buying and selling process is maximally simplified: right-click the sign to buy, left-click to sell. (Buttons can be configured in the configuration file!)

Creating a Player Shop

1. Place a chest on the ground
2. Place a sign 1 block away from the chest (for example, above it)
3. Write on the sign:

• Leave the first line empty - the plugin will automatically fill it with your name (with ChestShop.admin permission, you can create shops on behalf of other players)
• Second line specifies the number of items to buy/sell
• Third line contains a combination of buy and sell prices. Use price indicators ('B' - price for items BOUGHT by players, or 'S' - SELL price) next to the price - prices are separated by a colon :
• Fourth line contains the item identifier/name. Write ? on the sign, and the item will be automatically filled from the chest, or click on the sign with the item later.

Admin Shops with Unlimited Items

To create an admin shop, specify "Admin Shop" (configurable in config.yml) on the first line of the sign. Admin shops don't require a chest!

Commands

• /iteminfo - Get information about the item in hand
• /shopinfo - Get information about the viewed shop
• /csgive <item_code> [<amount>] [<player>] - Give item with unique ChestShop code to player
• /cstoggle - Toggle purchase and sale notifications
• /chestshop version - Show ChestShop version
• /chestshop reload - Reload ChestShop configuration and translations
• /csaccess - Toggle ability to buy/sell in shops when having admin permissions
